Craft Paper Organizer
Greenwood Village, CO
I have a client with a 4 year old who loves to craft! But sometimes, when in the midst of crafting, a wild search party ensues for the perfect piece of colored paper.
So, when I was organizing his craft supply cabinet recently, I thought it would be fun to create a special organizing system just for his colored paper.
The best news? It's nothing fancy! All it required was a simple hanging file organizer and multi-colored hanging file folders. Check it out!

Supplies Needed
Clear Plastic Hanging File Organizer with Handles (find one that fits your space)
Multi Colored Hanging File Folders (like these, these, and these)
Colorful Construction Paper (choose colors that match your file folders or vice versa)
The Perfect Size
I love this paper organizer solution because it's not too big and bulky, so it tucked nicely in his newly organized craft cabinet with all his other fun crafty supplies! I placed it on the lower pullout shelf in the righthand corner so he can reach it. Can you spot it below?

Organizing that Empowers Kids
The best part is watching kids use their new organizing system, especially when it empowers them to do things on their own. He quickly figured out where to find the orange paper and off he went (with zero help from mom)!
